Jack’s Tree Farm Finish

Hello Everyone! I wanted to pop in with a cross stitch finish.

I finished the last chart, Cookies, of Jack Frost’s Tree Farm by Little House Needleworks.

Which meant the whole piece is completed! I’m very pleased with it. I’m not sure how I’ll fully finish it yet, but I have a while before the next Christmas season to think about it.

I’d like to give you some stats about it:

• Started: 3-1-19, received a chart every month for 7 months.
• Finished: 4-2-20
• Days worked on: 84
• Fabric: 32 ct Lambswool Linen
• Stitch size: 183 W x 173 H, 11 1/2″ x 10 3/4″
• Floss Substitutions: DMC 3865 for CCW Eggshell (white) and DMC 3866 in sign. I also switched the colors in the sign. The words were supposed to be Black Coffee, but I changed them to Cherry Cobbler.

I couldn’t resist getting out my Dept 56 “Buying the Tree” set and playing with it. It gave me a new idea on finishing. You’ll have to wait a few months to see what I decide!
