Vernal Falls, Yosemite NP, May 16, 2023.Pictures of El Capitan and Half Dome from our trip a week ago to Yosemite NP. Also included are pictures of Vernal Falls and Nevada Falls from our hike and a hike my son did to the top of Nevada Falls. The reflection of Half Dome is at Mirror Lake and the reflection of Yosemite Falls is from the flood water in the center of the park. The falls were spectacular! On our trip a week ago, we went to Yosemite NP. The weather was perfect and the sound of the waterfalls could be heard throughout the park. There was water everywhere! We spent three days here exploring and hiking. It was wonderful. We have been home just over a week from our wonderful trip to the National Parks of the Sierra Nevada. Our first stop was Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP. Because of the road conditions and snowfall, we were only able to visit the foothills of Sequoia and the Grant Grove area of Kings Canyon. The wild flowers were in bloom in Sequoia and the mountain sides were beautiful.Follow on Pinterest
