It's time for August's Cross Stitch Camp Project and this month I've selected Quaker Star Delight by Jeannette Douglas Designs. I have never stitched one of her designs before, which is the theme for this month, try something new. I'll be stitching the pin keep on a scrap of 40 ct Soft Porcelain by Luminous Fiber Arts using most of the called for floss.Finished July's #crossstitchcamp2022 project hosted by #coloradocrossstitcher. The theme is to stitch something that won't be framed. I'll be finishing Red She Said as a banner using Cathy's, #handsondesign, instructions. I started stitching Banner 3 but not sure I'll finish it by the end of the month so wanted to get Banner 2 posted. Stitched on 32 ct Lt Sand using the #colourandcotton thread.Finished the top section earlier this week and will put Land That I Love by Teresa Kogut aside for now. It's been my morning stitch since the middle of May. Enjoyed working on it, but it's time to move on to another WIP. Stitched on 40 ct Alabaster by Zweigert using the called for colors.I started a new mini on July 3 that was inspired by Julie's, @thecraftyquilter, newsletter where she shared a free Quilts of Valor pattern, https://thecraftyquilter.com/2020/07/free-quilt-of-valor-pattern/. I used her Friendship Star layout and turned it horizontally to go on the door to my garage. Thanks Julie for sharing!Follow on Pinterest
