July Progress Report

Hello Everyone! Today I’m sharing July’s progress report, only about a week and half late! I was busy the first week of August getting the Save the Bees and The Needles (Succulents) admin items taken care of and this past week, I’ve been working on a quilt for a friend.

I was able to get quite a lot accomplished in July. We stayed home the whole month and it was hot, so not many day trips either. I did visit a few Christmas in July events at local quilt shops and came home with lots of goodies though. If you missed seeing the things on my list, you can check them out below:

Some of the other things on the list can’t be shown now, but soon!

Now for my August List:

Besides the Save the Bees Project, I haven’t worked on any of the things on my list. I started some embroidery because I needed something to work on when we took furniture to my daughter in Pensacola.

This is a Jenny of Elefantz design that I’ve wanted to work on for some time. I’m using this pack of Cosmo floss curated by Bonnie and Camille that I’ve had for over a year.

IMG_7021.1This is my first time working with this floss and it is very nice. It’s smooth and doesn’t seem to twist as much as some other floss that I’ve used.

I’ve also been working on a Birthday/House Warming quilt for my same friend Lydia.

It’s not finished yet, but I was able to give it to her and take it back yesterday at her birthday party, lol. Once it’s finished, I’ll share more about it.

Since the month is almost half over, I may need to re-evaluate my list and work on the really important things. One that I know I will do is the September Minis and More, which is a mini Trip Around the World using this tutorial by Samantha of Aqua Paisley Studio. There is still half a month left if you want to join in.

I also want to get the Save the Bees top quilted and start quilting my Moda Blockheads quilt.DSC00548.1

It’s all sandwiched and ready to be quilted!

Just these few things plus some more admin items will keep me busy the rest of the month. I hope you have a great week and thanks for stopping by.
