Fifth 2016 Finish-A-Long

My most recent 2016 FAL is the February Stitchery by Jenny of Elefantz’s “a year in the garden”.

You can see I free motion quilted around the embroidery, then quilted tiny swirls in the background. Here’s a comparison between January’s unquilted and February’s quilted stitchery.

I’d like to know which one you like the best, so please leave me a comment with your opinion.

Here it is attached to the background quilt. I have it hanging on this mini rack in my sewing room.

This is finish number 5 for the year. The next one will probably be the February Minis and More. You can read about it here.

Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget to let me know if you like quilted or unquilted.

I like the quilting on the February piece, of course both are lovely.

  2. They’re both lovely, but I think I prefer the quilted one. Thank you for participating in the FAL, on behalf of the 2016 global FAL hosts.

P.S. Next time (and I hope there is a next time!), please could you remember to add a link to your proposed finishes list in your linked finish post so that we can easily find it when verifying whether finishes are eligible for the prize draw? Many thanks!
